‘Last year, Animedh Charitable Trust (ACT) supported an initiative called, ‘The Breakfast Revolution’ by Decimal Foundation NGO. This programme got a huge boost due to the sponsorship by ACT which helped to provide one year’s supply of fortified nutritional breakfasts to one hundred BMC school children in an effort to eradicate malnutrition, resulting illnesses and defects among children and thereby improve their scholastic performance. The Trustees, Mrs. Neelam Jethwani & her son Pankaj Jethwani are fully hands on in sourcing and production of fortified soya milk in delicious flavours and nutritional biscuits. They have collaborated with other NGOs to distribute fresh ‘breakfasts’ daily to BMC school children and also children studying in open schools and night schools. Children are delighted to receive these goodies that are tasty and filling and their parents are satisfied with their improved energy and school performance. ACT is delighted to collaborate with the The Breakfast revolution (Decimal Foundation) in such a worthy cause.’
